Virtual Staging for Real Estate Listings in NJ
Why empty rooms need help
Empty rooms photograph smaller than they are. Without furniture there is nothing to give a sense of scale, and buyers have a hard time telling a living room from a bedroom or picturing where a bed would go. Physical staging solves that but costs time and money. Virtual staging adds furniture in editing, so the room in the photo shows how it can be used.
What we stage
We stage the rooms that matter most to buyers: the main living area, the primary bedroom, and any room whose use is not obvious when it is empty. On new construction like the 116 W Wilde Ave build in Villas and the W Bennett Ave townhomes in Wildwood, we photographed the empty rooms and staged a living room and a bedroom with furniture, rugs and decor that suit the house. Staged photos are a design aid, so we recommend noting virtual staging in the listing description.
Virtual decluttering
If a room is furnished but busy, decluttering removes clutter and old furniture from the photo instead of adding new pieces. It is a good fit for estate sales, tenant-occupied homes and rooms that are mid-move.
